Our Art Classes is a place where young minds can just get touched by beauty, but they can get involved in the creative process of this beauty. It is a place where you can learn drawing techniques and get an understanding of color theory and composition basics. You can discover your talents and develop your creativity; find your own style in art. It is a place where you can enrich your life or even prepare for a future career in the art and design fields.

Artistic Development Program

We have created a comprehensive art program designed to teach fundamental drawing and painting skills using direct observation and imagination.

Shading, Composition, Shape, Proportion, Line, Perspective, 3D Form, Color Theory and Tones will all be explored through different drawing techniques and a variety of subjects. We introduce students to many different mediums: pencil, oil and soft pastel, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media.

This program gives students essential art skills in order to help them to express themselves, experiment and develop a personal style

Art Program for Adults

Classes are offered at all levels, from introductory to advance. Students are free to choose from a wide range of subjects, such as still-life, portraiture, landscape, composition, decorative art and contemporary art, calligraphy, script writing. Students also can master different artistic mediums: Watercolor, Oil on Canvas, acrylic, Mixed Media, pencil, poster colors, collage work and more…

Students will be exploring new techniques, using various media, and encouraged to express their unique creativity throughout their learning process.

Elements of Art

This will introduce students to the “Elements of Art”. There are 7 elements which serve as building blocks of art: line, shape, form, space, texture, value and color. Each week we will explore one of these elements, culminating in our final class where we will review and combine all the elements into our art.

Exploring Artistic Techniques

This would offer a variety of techniques, mediums and material preparation. It is designed to allow artists of every level try a new medium or learn how to prepare surfaces for different mediums. Each week would cover one specific topic and lead into the next week.

Weeks 2-8 we will have a demonstration at the beginning and a critique at the end of the class.

Painting Color and Values

This painting class will focus on color mixing, color temperature, values and working with a limited pallet using oil or acrylic paints. Each week we will work on color theory and a painting based on the day’s lesson working with a still life set up.

Each student will be encouraged to work in their own individual style using pallet knives and/or brushes as desired

Portraiture/ Figure Drawing – All Levels

Study the basic steps to portraiture of human proportion as you learn formal drawing techniques. This simple and accessible approach will reveal a richer understanding of how it is to draw the human form. Classes entail group and individual instruction.

Watercolor Representational – All levels

Explore transparent watercolor designed for the beginner. Basic watercolor techniques will be taught as you learn how to mix and “interpret” vibrant watercolor combinations. The creative possibilities are endless!

Learn to paint beautiful art works. Composition, color, shapes and values. Landscape, florals and wildlife. Demonstrations and one on one instruction.

Still Life – All levels

Working from a different still life every week or two, you’ll receive group and individual instruction on composition, color and technique. Students can work in traditional watercolor methods or explore other approaches.

Landscape Painting from Photo Reference

Paint the landscape in oil, acrylic or watercolor as you work from photo references. You’ll learn how to interpret landscape through the principles of design and then explore and practice the techniques needed to reconstruct it in paint. Plenty of group and individual instruction provided throughout.

Not for beginners – some painting experience required.

Beginner’s Oil Painting

A great start to your personal development as a painter! This course provides a basic introduction to the oil medium and includes guidance on choosing the proper materials and tools plus instruction on paint application, composition, color mixing and much more. Previous drawing experience necessary.

Beginner’s Abstract Painting

This beginner approach to abstract painting will have you experimenting with innovative ways of creating art as you plunge into expressive colour mixing, brushwork and composition. Invent new techniques for applying paint and devise radical artistic processes –all while creating your own abstract pieces.

Art Program for Budding Artists

These programs show students much more than how to paint or draw a picture. They help stimulate the creative part of the child’s mind, teach discipline and instill a sense of pride, accomplishment, and self-worth. It also improves academic achievement – enhancing test scores, attitudes, social skills, critical and creative thinking.

Mixed Media for Young Artist

Mixed Media for Young Artists is a combination of different mediums, techniques, styles and genres students explore and try. This program will include drawing, painting, soft & oil pastel, and other different media.

Collage work activities

Different type of collage works will be introduced to the children

By using paper layering and using recycled paper materials plus they will experiment with different adhesive like glue sticks, tape etc. it will enhance their fine motor skills.

The Painting & Drawing program

The Painting & Drawing program focuses on fundamental principles of Drawing including composition, shading, tonal values and basic principles of painting including colour theory, composition, warm & cool colors. Students will make still-life, landscape, portrait, and other subjects using pencil, charcoal, watercolor, acrylics.

Young Talents Classes (5 – 7 years old)

It is an introductory course, where students learn Color theory, proportions and different technics. The Course is designed to develop the right half of the brain and motor skills during unique and fun activities.

Different Media for Children (8-16 years old)

This is a program of basic art in a variety of media. The students are a mix of ages and abilities; sometimes working from one still life, learning about perspective, form pattern & composition or on individual works. They work in pencil, pencil crayon, watercolor & acrylic.

We always striving to improve their motor skills, an understanding of shapes, imagination and creativity, in a fun, positive, nurturing environment.

Portraiture – All Levels

The basic steps to portraiture, human and animal, proportion, and form of face, and texture will be covered.

Calligraphy –ALL LEVELs

  • Basic lettering and strokes

  • Decorate flourishes and embellishment

  • Modern calligraphy trend and applications will be taught

Water colour/Acrylic Representational – All levels

Learn to paint beautiful art works. Composition, colour, shapes and values. Landscapes, florals and wildlife. Demonstrations and one on one instruction.

Art Portfolio & Art school Admission Preparation

We believe that through this workshop students will learn the fundamentals of drawing, the choice and composition of a theme, making an outline sketch and using perspective, the effects of light and shadows and the tonal contrast. Students will also learn how to deal with basic anatomy and the rules for portrait drawing.

Drawing from the model still life is provided for the portfolio students. The program will be introduced step by step through practical exercises as well as lessons in theory. We also help you to develop the creative potential that is undoubtedly inside you and to make it reality in order to create lively attractive sketches.

This workshop is beneficial for all students who are willing to apply to art program, preparing for the art entry test.

If you have already done your portfolio or you just want to start and you need some advice or critic, this workshop is for you! The most important detail of preparing your portfolio for college admissions is to remember to give yourself plenty of time and have fun with it. It is almost impossible to create quality work if you are nervous and under a time constraint.

Don’t wait until the last minute, and make enough work so you can edit together the best portfolio for each school you plan to apply to.

Students should be prepared on the first day to draw with black pencil on 18” x 24” drawing pad.
